About Us

Looking for an interior designer to give your home the ‘wow’ factor?

Discover why our previous clients love our service and what this means for you:

Listening and understanding

By careful questioning and listening, we gain in-depth understanding of your lifestyle. We can then offer design ideas that suit your individual requirements and perhaps also expand your comfort zone.

As well as appreciating her undeniable talent for interior design, clients love Susan’s warm personality and empathy, and often become friends.

Managing everything for you

We organise everything from initial concepts to finishing touches, so you can get on with your busy life.

All our work is bespoke, nothing is too much trouble, and every tiny detail is attended to.

Appreciating your style

The items you choose to accessorise your home express your individuality.

We take your personal style and preferences into account when working with you, and incorporate your most treasured pieces into the new design. When you want something new, we find the perfect furniture, lighting and mirrors from all over the world, with a focus on ethical sourcing.

Selecting beautiful artwork

The artwork you hang on your walls reflects your personality more than almost anything else.

We are passionate about collectable art you’ll love, that can be framed to complement your décor and style.

Creating new heirlooms

We believe in upcycling where possible – that is, repainting and reupholstering pre-loved furniture for future generations to cherish.

Trusted connections

Our network of tried-and-tested craftspeople tailor-make soft furnishings to our specification, and deliver amazing quality results.

Clients tell us we don’t just meet their expectations; we exceed them. That’s why many clients return time and time again.

Most of our work comes from referrals, and we are currently rated 9.8 out of 10 in independent reviews on Checkatrade.

Meet the team

Susan O’Connor designs interiors for luxury residential and commercial properties. She is an associate member of BIDA, and holds the Regency Academy of Fine Art design diploma and City & Guilds interior design certificate. She launched Rooms2Remember in 2005 before rebranding as Susan O’Connor Interiors in 2014. Previously, she managed various interior design shops. Clients appreciate her passion for designing interiors that make best use of space, are practical and comfortable to live in, and have the all-important ‘wow’ factor.

Lucy O’Toole is my right-hand woman. Having trained at both Chelsea College of Art and Design and Central St Martin’s, she brings a wealth of technical skills to the team. She is positive, logical, and has a perfectionist’s eye for ideal spatial planning solutions.

Together, we can take an architect’s black and white 2D drawing and transform it into a 3D Grand Designs-style walk-through that will show actual finishes (as opposed to generic) so clients can immediately ‘see’ how their living space will look before even a brick is moved. This is proving to be very popular with people who are refurbishing, extending their existing property or who wish to ‘visualise’ their plans for a holiday home or a second rental property. Property developers, architects and estate agents also appreciate this exciting and invaluable service.
